Scholarships, REUs and Jobs
All students, except non-credit workshop participants, are eligible for Stone Laboratory scholarships. In 2007, 37 scholarships were awarded, ranging from $150 to $1,500. The average award was $616 for college students and $343 for high school students. Part-time work is available only for college-level students enrolled in Term 1 or Term 2 courses. Instructions on how to apply for scholarships and employment are included in the application materials (request them online or download your packet), along with a listing of job descriptions.
Scholarships
Scholarship applications for college students must be received in the Columbus office by 5:00 p.m. EST on March 11, 2008. The applications deadline for high school students is March 21, 2008. Scholarships will be decided by early April.
Job Applications
Job applications for college students must be received in the Columbus office by 5:00 p.m. EST on March 11, 2008 for jobs. Interviews for employment will be held the third week of March and decisions will be made by early April. For a list of part-time job postings, please visit Job Announcements. Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU)
