Global Change

Ohio Sea Grant's programs work to address the state of knowledge regarding how changes to the Great Lakes ecosystem fit into a global perspective via our biocomplexity project, our work to develop an integrated portion of the Global Ocean Observation System, and more. Our researchers have developed remote sensing methods to detect and measure change, and our education, outreach, and communication programs are active in developing curricula and making related information available and accessible to the public.
